Slow it Down and Refine

We all get nervous at times. Maybe some more than others. We usually have a tendency to speed things up when speaking while nervous. Your nervousness can be caused by a variety of factors such as environment, health, confidence, and etc. No matter what the cause or reason is, it is important that you battle the nervous speedy delivery by conscientiously slowing down your speech and focusing more on pronouncing whole words. Do not skips the "s" at the ends of words and so on. The more you do this, the better you will speak and naturally find a comfortable pace at which to speak at.

Take Every Word You Know

Another great way to improve your English fluency is through expanding your vocabulary of course. How can you speak if you know no words, right? In my opinion, the easiest way to expand your vocabulary is through having conversations and taking note of any words that are unfamiliar to you. Another way, which can be done at home or even on the go via mobile phone, is to try and think of words that you already know in English and come up with or look up any synonyms if any. This is a great way to add some flare to your conversations. Using different words that mean the same thing sounds more interesting than if you repeatedly used the same expressions and vocabulary over and over again without end. Well, there would be an end, because the person listening would no longer be interested. :) Keep up the good work and please stay committed to improving your English fluency.
